Text Analytics Workshop

The Data Science Institute is hosting this workshop to explore and foster research collaborations in the area of text analytics. The event will include: experts in computer science, medicine, economics, and social sciences. There will be a keynote talk by Dr. Frank Rudzicz (UofT, Assistant Professor in Computer Science) and 20-minutes presentations from UBC reseachers. These presentations will be focused on the themes of 1) social science applications and 2) medical applications.
